The St. Vite’s Cathedral is the pearl of Prague Castle. It is the spiritual center of Catholicism in Czech Republic. The cathedral was founded in1344 during the governing of Emperor Karl the IV at the place of the old roman basilica which held the name of St. Vite and was under construction for more than 6 years. Nowadays the cathedral is the textbook of architecture because it represents various architectural styles.
