With the introduction of iron as a building material, in the beginning of the nineteenth century, bridge construction in St. Petersburg entered a new phase. The first cast-iron city-type bridge appeared in 1806, at the intersection of Nevsky Prospekt and the Moika. In those days it was called the Green or Police Bridge.

The Pulkovo Observatory is located on the Pulkovo Heights. It was designed in 1827 by Vasily Yakovlevich Struve. He became the first director of the observatory.

The Church of the Holy Trinity was founded in 1898 on the Gora-Valdai. Construction was completed in 1903. The project was carried out by the architect VA Kosyakov from St. Petersburg.
The fort was built in 1855 – 1856 under the leadership of Totleben E.I. Reorganized in 1861 – 1869 under the leadership of Zverev K.Ya. In 1899 – 1903 fort go through significant restructuring under the leadership of N.V. Baranov. Were was built six concrete traverses, three rangefinder pavilions and a hiding searchlight .
Fort “The Gray Horse” was built in 1911-1915 under the leadership of the Engineer-Major-General AA Shishkin and was part of the Kronstadt Fortress. The main task of batteries was to combat enemy landing craft, in order to avoid the capture of the “Krasnaya Gorka” fort from the dry land.

In June 2018 in St. Petersburg was held the regular festival “Imperial Gardens of Russia”. In this year festival took place in Summer Garden. The theme of the festival was flowers, so the festival name is “Flower Assembly”.

Mission of the John the Theologian Cheremenets Monastery – the former mission of the Alexander Nevsky Lavra, the territory for which in 1714 Peter I granted to the Alexander Nevsky Monastery. In 2001 the building was returned to the Church and it was granted to the Mission of the St. John the Theologian Cheremenets Monastery.
On the territory of the City Cemetery of the Kronstadt are the Trinity Church and the Chapel of St. Theodores.
“Alexander Shanets” fortress was built in 1706 on the Kotlinskaya Kosa. The current View of the fort was forming in 1897-1902 when the central mortar and northern cannon batteries was built.
The battery is located behind the “Korund Terminal”. Turn from the Kronstadt highway to the right, to the wooden path, then to the shore through the field.
